Groups
GCG's meet during the first and third weeks of every month (sometimes on fifth week, too). Each group is made up of believers who gather in homes, share a meal, and encourage one another in the faith through sermon reflections, testimonies, fellowship, singing, and prayer. Please contact the church office if you would like to join a Gospel Community Group.
AIM & STRATEGY
We call them "Gospel Community Groups" because each group acts as a microcosm of what the church as a whole should be. In these little Gospel Communities of 10-25, gathered in each other's homes, we do life together by going up, in, and out. This helps us fulfill the 5 E's of our mission strategy: to establish ourselves in the gospel, to equip the saints and new leaders for the work of the ministry, to entrust ourselves to the care of the faithful, equipped leaders, to evangelize the lost with the gospel, and to exalt God in all things.

Gospel Community Groups are rooted and grounded in the gospel (Eph. 3:17) so our primary aim is to worship God together (1 Cor. 10:31). In groups of 10-15 adults (and their children, 5-8 families), we sing, pray, and eat meals together. We study and apply God's word together, encouraging one another in our walks with Him. This Godward focus resets our minds on the things above, where Christ is (Col. 3:1-4), stirs our affections for the Triune God, and helps us fulfill our role as a kingdom of priests who offer pleasing sacrifices to the Lord (1 Peter 2:4-5, 9-10).
God is more enjoyed by us and glorified in us as we gather and go up together.
So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on the things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

As fellow believers and members of the same body (1 Cor. 12) we bear each other's burdens (Gal. 6:2, 8-10). By going in, our primary aim is to fellowship and to fulfill our calling as the body of Christ. In all stages of life there are unique challenges that become opportunities for brothers and sisters in Christ to demonstrate practical, gospel love for one another. This might look like providing meals, lending a hand, giving counsel, speaking a word of encouragement or correction, or even helping carry financial burdens.
We aim for inter-generational membership in these groups since we have much to learn from one another and there are many ways to help each other grow. Gospel Community Groups become an important avenue for fulfilling the "one another" passages (Heb. 10:24-25 and others). As they are done in this small group gathering, the grace extends into the corporate body of Christ to the glory of God. Another important element of "in" is discussing the sermon that we all might be good stewards of the preached word.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:2, 9-10
Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus...and since we have a great high priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith...let us old fast the confession of our hope without wavering...and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
