SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION
Memorization is for meditation. And meditation is for our eternal joy in God. Meditating on Scripture both day and night, makes us like trees planted by streams of water, beholding Christ and bearing fruit for God’s glory (Psalm 1:3; Luke 24:27; John 15:4-7). Your elders are eager to pursue churchwide Scripture memory with you in 2026, using Fighter Verses (Set 1) as a tool. The most important resource is this bookmark, which you can also find at the hub. When you sit down with your Bible in the morning, it will remind you what to memorize and meditate on.
2026 BIBLE READING PLANS
It's time to start planning for how you will regularly feed on the Word this next year. If you don't already have a plan, we recommend one of these options. Print the PDF (links below) or pick up a copy at The Hub.
Navigator's Bible Reading Plan - four parts of the Bible each day, alternating Old Testament and New Testament.
Navigator's Book-At-A-Time Plan - for those who want more time in each book, which helps keep readings in context.
ESV Chronological Plan - attempts to keep historical events together and in the order they happened.
All of these are helpful in their own way. Try a new one or stick to what works for you. Any way you choose to do it, be devoted this year to seeing, savoring and sharing the Word of life.
